The blood is thicker then water is actually wrong just so you know. The term actually goes "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" which means the family you choose is more important then the family you're born into, because birth family can be toxic and can destroy you.

Also the Albanian name comes from the Ancient documented illyrian tribe which has connections with pelasgian names.Go make propagandas about your turkic origins dear karamanidises before you arrived the Albanian language were spoken in %50 of greece. We nearly revealed the truth made great works in england and italia also germans already know this truth cus of their bavarian prince otto. All were recorded. You cant match yourselves with hellens cus of phoenician alphabet your.language has no similarity. And we are really bored of your agressive little country.Your country is damaging the peace of the world .Doing wrong decisions in the mediterennean sea.Europe stopped supporting your social democrat looking ultranationalist country.Nationalist for what?I guess their pecheneg origins who came from tataria and took the name greco because of their grego orthodox religion. You are livining in ARBERIA great.stop your propagandas.

These dances are more ‘regional’ so to speak. Many different ethnicities lived together or very close to each other during Ottoman periods and before, this is why you get different peoples sharing music, traditions and dress, etc, or having very similar traditions/customs. It doesn’t make these particular traditions shown in the video (music and dress) any less Greek or any less Albanian. Since the rise of nationalism and the establishment of modern nation states, technically they’re both (shared). I’m from Cyprus and the different communities (Greek, Turkish, Maronite, etc) are very close culturally, sharing many dances, music, styles of dress, food, etc. We’ve lived together for a very long time, so of course it makes sense that that’s the case!

Arvanites (/ˈɑːrvənaɪts/;[1] Greek: Αρβανίτες, romanized: Arvanítes; Arvanitika: Αρbε̱ρεσ̈ε̰, romanized: Arbëreshë or Αρbε̰ρορε̱, romanized: Arbërorë) are a bilingual[2] population group in Greece who traditionally speak Arvanitika, an Albanian language variety, along with Greek. They settled in southern Greece during the late Middle Ages and were the dominant population element in parts of the Peloponnese, Attica and Boeotia until the 19th century.[3] Arvanites today self-identify as Greeks as a result of a process of assimilation,[4][5][6][7] and do not consider themselves Albanian.[8] They call themselves Arvanites (in Greek) and Arbëror (in their language). Arvanitika is in a state of attrition due to language shift towards Greek and large-scale internal migration to the cities and subsequent intermingling of the population during the 20th century. Albanians shouldn’t even look upon those people because they literally executed many Albanians and Turks. Also Greece has Cypriots,Corfu,Anatolian,Crete Albanians have a different traditional costumes than the Greeks.
