The blood is thicker then water is actually wrong just so you know. The term actually goes "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" which means the family you choose is more important then the family you're born into, because birth family can be toxic and can destroy you.

You really live in a parallel universe and dont know history, right? Its the exactly opposite from ottoman culture and from every aspect: women dont wear hijabs or burgas, and men wear kilts, an 100% European thing. If Turks look for cultural similarities you can search for lebanese or arabic marriages

@Athan asios you are still making wrong propagandas your name greek didint exist actually it was used for only religion in the near past.In antiquity you have nothing to do with hellens your country has more bonds with tatars. And you are so funny by saying Albanians first existed in 10th century. This is your propaganda only the lands you are living in now epiri peleponese and athens are Albanian names and its people were Albanians their dialect is directly Same as the ancient dorians.stop your lies with tsakonian accent.Giovanni bandini an italian linguist made a research and.revealed the truth.Alekasianderr e Madhe was also of Albaniano rigin there so many proofs his name is Albanian. Also the Albanian name comes from the Ancient documented illyrian tribe which has connections with pelasgian names.Go make propagandas about your turkic origins dear karamanidises before you arrived the Albanian language were spoken in %50 of greece. We nearly revealed the truth made great works in england and italia also germans already know this truth cus of their bavarian prince otto. All were recorded. You cant match yourselves with hellens cus of phoenician alphabet your.language has no similarity. And we are really bored of your agressive little country.Your country is damaging the peace of the world .Doing wrong decisions in the mediterennean sea.Europe stopped supporting your social democrat looking ultranationalist country.Nationalist for what?I guess their pecheneg origins who came from tataria and took the name greco because of their grego orthodox religion. You are livining in ARBERIA great.stop your propagandas.

@Athan asios lol the whole world and balkans laughs at your country when you claimed yourself to be hellenes. While you are speaking greek which comes from gregor or georgis name greek wasnt ethnical but mostly religonal.Modern greek language became the main language of byzantine empire before that and in s.p.q.r mostly Albanian language was used.%50 of greece was called arberia. And historians in turkey in knidos ancient dorian.city.which is in datça.German linguists read the city was called bukureper-is in its.writings with phoenician Alphabet.so stop claiming everything has phoenician alphabet as greek your people match with anatolian how can they be the blood of the magnifico alex.

These dances are more ‘regional’ so to speak. Many different ethnicities lived together or very close to each other during Ottoman periods and before, this is why you get different peoples sharing music, traditions and dress, etc, or having very similar traditions/customs. It doesn’t make these particular traditions shown in the video (music and dress) any less Greek or any less Albanian. Since the rise of nationalism and the establishment of modern nation states, technically they’re both (shared). I’m from Cyprus and the different communities (Greek, Turkish, Maronite, etc) are very close culturally, sharing many dances, music, styles of dress, food, etc. We’ve lived together for a very long time, so of course it makes sense that that’s the case!

Arvanites (/ˈɑːrvənaɪts/;[1] Greek: Αρβανίτες, romanized: Arvanítes; Arvanitika: Αρbε̱ρεσ̈ε̰, romanized: Arbëreshë or Αρbε̰ρορε̱, romanized: Arbërorë) are a bilingual[2] population group in Greece who traditionally speak Arvanitika, an Albanian language variety, along with Greek. They settled in southern Greece during the late Middle Ages and were the dominant population element in parts of the Peloponnese, Attica and Boeotia until the 19th century.[3] Arvanites today self-identify as Greeks as a result of a process of assimilation,[4][5][6][7] and do not consider themselves Albanian.[8] They call themselves Arvanites (in Greek) and Arbëror (in their language). Arvanitika is in a state of attrition due to language shift towards Greek and large-scale internal migration to the cities and subsequent intermingling of the population during the 20th century. Albanians shouldn’t even look upon those people because they literally executed many Albanians and Turks. Also Greece has Cypriots,Corfu,Anatolian,Crete Albanians have a different traditional costumes than the Greeks.
