Hey my friend !. What do you think of the popularity of these new Greek myths retellings ? They have been popping up in my feed and don’t know if they are any good to get into Greek mythology. My understanding is that is based on Greek mythology but the author adds his /her own twist

I hear the works of Miller are really good. Such as Achilles. And Circe. I have not read them myself.

I want to read about greek myth but some book unavailable in my country and ordering books take a long time to my home so I want to know that can I read Homer's first and the song of Achilles in following ? because in only three books about greek myth available now in my country 🥺

Sure. Although I think the Song of Achilles is based on Greek myth only. It’s an original story by a modern author but rooted in Greek myth. I heard it’s very good. Have you thought of downloading books? I’d you have a smart phone or iPad you can download books if you have trouble getting physical copies. Best wishes.
