I’ve decided to study Greek by myself last month and your lessons have been such help. You have such a clear way to speak, you explain with simple but efficient examples and you break the grammar down into easy to absorb pieces. It is truly a delight to have you as a teacher.

I agree with Issam. Your teaching is very clear and easy to follow and your voice and way of speaking is very relaxing. I've been listening to your lessons to learn during the day, but at night I've been listening to help me drift off to sleep. You drain all the stress and tension right out of me! :D Well done!

Miss, my questions are: 1. What does that accent on the last letter do or change in the pronunciation? 2. Do all words which include 3 syllables or more must end with a vowel? 3. Is it necessary that every word includes three syllables or more to has an accent on a vowel?
@greeklessonsonlinevideos
@greeklessonsonlinevideos 3 жыл бұрын
1. When we put an accent mark it means that we will emphasize on that vowel. We put more power there. So the pronunciation won't change. The intonation will. 2. No! 3. Yes!! When it has 2 syllables or more we must put an accent

Hello there is something I want to ask you, if you can answer I will be very glad When you explane about οι προσωπικές αντωνυμίες, Ενικος αριθμός and Πληθυντικος αριςμος, that is Αιτιατική Με, Σε, τον, την, το ... l watched from your old video and l understood them. thanks for that. You showed οι κτητικές αντωνυμίες in this video, I understand it too, but there is also Γενική. I have a book and that book shows the subject of Γενική as Μου, Σου,Του, Της, Του, Μας Σας Τους, Τις, Τους. I'm a little confused. are these correct ?
@greeklessonsonlinevideos
@greeklessonsonlinevideos 3 жыл бұрын
Yes there are also the personal pronouns in Genitive. We use them as indirect objects, fοr example : της δίνει το βιβλίο (βιβλίο is the direct object in Accusative and της the indirect object in Genitive). There are also some verbs that they take a direct object in Genitive, for example : της τηλεφωνώ (here there is only one object in Genitive).

Don't get disappointed my dear student! You have a good point here! The first pronoun is personal and the second possessive! They look alike but they are completely different in the meaning and way of use! Μου δίνεις - you give me Ο καφές μου - my coffee Τhe personal pronouns (Accusative or Genitive) are always next to a verb. The possessive pronouns are after the nouns.
