@@GreekCookingMadeEasy thank you. I am not being rude, I am learning so thank you in advance... but it looks like revani, same procedure as revani and ingredients are the same as revani, with the exception of the yogurt, "self raising flour" instead of All purpose flour and backing powder and Mastiha in your recipe, (which is optional). It's pretty much the same is it not?

@Akasha0777 although some of the ingredients are the same, the result is not. Revani uses 5 eggs and a combination of Semolina and flour. That makes it fluffier, more grainy and much thicker than portokalopita. Also we use a lot of orange flavor in Portokalopita which is not happening in Revani. Sometimes a few different ingredients can result to a completely different recipe, especially in desserts (e.g. all the different cakes we find). Please feel free, you are always welcome to ask questions, of course. It is not considered rude to ask and learn, it's my pleasure to answer 😊 🙌🥧🤩

@@GreekCookingMadeEasy in your ingredients list, you have also ( Αλεύρι που φουσκώνει μόνο του (ή σιμιγδάλι ψιλό), which is also Semolina. I have made Revani which uses 3 eggs and plenty of orange juice. Like I said, same ingredients but without yogurt. Would the yogurt make it more fluffy as well? Thank you again for your help.

Yes yoghurt would help. The eggs make a big difference at least in my 2 recipes. Of course there are variations to Revani like the one you make. The more orange flavor and less eggs you add, the more it will resemble portokalopita. As I said, 2 desserts that are "similar" but the end result can be quite different in taste and presentation (Portokalopita is also quite thinner).
