I don't know why in every video this song is called "about fall of Constantinople" when it's clear that it's legend of Constantine XI (about his death and return). Song is full of symbolism that reference to his story . According to this legend he took off all of his insignia of power and set off to defend the City with his people. Emperor died and was turned into marble and is waiting for a day when Greek people will reclaim the City.

I can’t post the whole thing due to copyright, so I recommend you to search “Caitlin Green: New England”. The English were essentially badass, they basically fought and protected this Nova Anglia until the 14th century. This was after they assisted the emperor with the siege against the “heathens” in the city itself. It definitely gives me Eotheod vibes in Lord Of The Rings.
