Wide streets. Older houses, but some new apartments when old downtown buildings have gone. Another college town with a good-sized hospital. Interesting gas station on 8th Street with old Texaco livery and pumps. Traditional street/avenue traffic grid. Not much left between the two metro areas along I-25, just west of town, with mountains nearby.
