There is nothing mythological about greek fire, the byzantine empire frequently used it during the Middle Ages in order to defend itself against invading fleets since water couldn't be used to stop the flames. Checking your facts once in a while has never hurt anybody. Nice vid otherwise

the aqua arrow actually makes sense, batman has a similar device on his utility belt. Green Arrow's quiver is his utility belt it's actually kinda smart way to use a broken arrow shaft if you have nowhere to put extra gear

While I'm a True Believer, I much prefer Green Arrow over Marvel's Hawkeye; Oliver Queen has a cooler look, but the way his character was developed made him far more interesting than Clint Barton, especially when DC revised his title as a For Mature Readers series in the late 1980s, written by Mike Grell.

Fun fact. Jax is Ollie's trusted friend and coworker who constantly designs and improves upon his arrows. Ironically, Jax doesn't like making weapons at all, even though he's a genius craftsman, because he abhors violence. This is exactly why Ollie uses him and no one else. He wants his arsenal made by someone who focuses on conflict resolution and situational control rather than sheer destructive force.

Actually he was very like Batman originally, not least as he was created as a stand-in for the latter, because DC felt Batman would be overexposed if he featured in the JL all the time. Martian Manhunter was also created to be a Superman substitute. It was only later that Green Arrow developed into a character fery different to Batman.

Arrow was trash. Doesn't matter what season. Lifelessly acted and heavily edited but that's not what made it bad. Production is secondary when it comes to quality. The real quality is determined by whether or not the characters are likeable and worth investing in. The characters were extremely unlikeable and not worth investing in. The main character once tortured a man to death for no reason other than practice.

That battle proved that Hawkeye is more potent to win against Green Arrow than vice versa... And how is Green Arrow better again? They are EQUALLY great characters, sharp shooters and badasses...You really can t prove one archer is better than the other. They are Mirror images of the other. The Mcu Hawkeye is great BTW...Jeremy Renner is a very good actor and his Endgame haircut and tatoos are both sexy and badass. Hawkeye in Avengers Emh cartoon is the third best character in that show.... Green Arrow = Hawkeye.

It's so cool that the main character of color in Arrow's was a member of the armed forces far more educated in war than the main character and is still relegated to a servant for the sake of keeping the main character looking more capable and competent and is never allowed any of his own personal growth or development into a capable vigilante of his own. Forget never growing into his own as a vigilante. He barely seemed to grow into his own person let alone vigilante. Always just there to serve and give advice to the white leads which if I'm not mistaken isn't any different than the usual role of characters of color in film and television.
