On his ACL tear recovery: "I had to pretty much put my head down and work. I attacked it pretty hard in the weight room and training room, I did three times a day, just trying to beat the timeline of an ACL injury. When they told me it was going to take so long. I just didn't want to wait that long, I felt like a liability. Getting back on the field was the most important thing to me, so grinding it out every day was something I attacked." As a fan, nothing makes me more excited than someone who works his ass off and has a hunger to compete, win, and see his team succeed. He’s got drive and is stepping into a great o-line room with a great development program. He’s going to have to compete, and competition is what makes great players. He knows he won’t play if he gets complacent. The reaction from the cheesehead at the draft, I believe, is going to be motivation for him to prove himself.

This draft is strong at Ot and WR. It made since to get one early.look at all the really good 1st round talent that fell to the second round. The Packers are in the best shape for the fallen 1st round picks then I have ever seen for them...they are going to get some really good players.

I live in Tucson and have seen him play at every level. This guy is a monster, he's going to turn some heads come September. If he had declaed in 2022 and not torn his ACL he would've been a top ten pick.

Great film analysis 👍. Technical hands and good feet.I would like to see that violent punch that's always well coordinated with the kick slide and anchor. He has the feet to get ahead of a rip or arm over but the inside spin or hump move requires directional change back inside with violent hands once the end commits back up field.

He may not have the arm length tackles usually have- but our gm and hc prize guys who are versatile, not stuck at one position. That's Jordan Morgan! Lack of length Doesn’t have ideal size to anchor against speed to power Basically he’s not a genetic mutant freak and you kinda need be that to block the genetic mutant freaks coming off the edge in the nfl Are there guys that are not that yes, but they’re not considered elite and are upgradeable

Arm length. Doesn’t mean he won’t become a stud at OT at the pro-level, and with his versatility, I expect him to get the opportunity at some point in time, but his arm length is better suited at guard in the pros.

Latu has shorter arms than Morgan. How does Morgan do against great pass rushers with 34"+ arms? There are lots of those in the NFL who know how to use their length

Short arms. In the NFL he will be facing DE's with huge length advantages over him and they know how to exploit that weakness. It's extremely rare for OT to succeed in the NFL with arms under 33.5"

@@justinah7400The Packers’ O-line don’t use the same blocking technique. Short arms do not bother them because they are not trying to punch the defenders back. They use what is called the hug technique. Brian Bulaga was criticized for having short arms and was one of the best R Tackles in the league during his career. Morgan uses that same technique, which is why the Packers drafted him.

As much as I appreciate the film. It's hard to believe that they didn't purposely make their left tackle wear white gloves when they're facing the best edge rusher in the class 😅 and he just so happens to be wearing a white jersey. I mean no other lineman has on gloves at all lmao. I will count it as football IQ and not a hold ing on every play.
