Booked the Hillside Pavilion with Private Pool for my Honeymoon. Gotta say, This video was very Informative. Any tips on what to prepare for? Mosquitoes for outside relaxation? Bug spray for the Gnats?

No issues with mosquitos or gnats. Only bugs I remember were some type of fruit fly in the outdoor shower area (bc fruit from the tree above would fall and split open into the shower area) and just on one occasion a (very) large beetle like flying thing that joined me in the pool at night. Otherwise, I’d make a trip to Mango Bay for a dinner (make reservations) and on a separate night to the Rock Bar at Nam Nghi for sunset drinks. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Im planning to book 3 nights here. With exceptions of the food do you recommend staying there if im only looking for a relaxing resort with a nice beach?

The best beach on the island in my opinion is at Fusion Resort. Plus the food and everything else is better there as well. It was the very first video I ever posted here and was my goto resort for years. If looking for cheaper alternatives with good beaches, I’d say the Salinda and Intercontinental are good choices. After working through all your flight reviews now onto your hotel ones, mostly interested in the food part so, thanks to your breakfast league table, doing them in reverse order and of course starting here with young Kevin rather than Sept 2024 Kevin. I was not disappointed unlike you at the time. That food is laughable, even I could cook better, at least the eggs were in a heart shape though I think the current Kevin might have made them into a sad face with the "sausage" and bacon "rashers". In fact your voice sounded less jovial in those days, perhaps the food? As you said, the views are stunning for the meals. Maybe they have changed in the intervening years, perhaps a revisit ... you could do a smiley or sad face with the eggs again just as an injoke depending to the quality ... you'll make me smile anyhow. Barcelo Riviera Maya tomorrow, sounds like a bullfighter cum sombrero toting gunslinger. I can tell its going to be a good one of course. Might grab an early weekend beer and some nibbles.
