what's your method for finding a nice consistent tone on soprano sax I have a lot of trouble with it and you make it look easy

Unfortunately it only looks easy I had to re record many times to get it how I liked it. Here’s how I practice tone: Scales that go through my whole range while keeping a consistent sound, if you get somewhere and you sound weird figure out how you need to adjust your mouth to sound clean again. Eventually you will automatically do this. Hope this helps!
