Green Cargo freight train 6691 Mariestad (drone)

On 1-8-2018 I went to Mariestad (again) in Sweden to try and film the freight train 6691 (Hallsberg - Mariestad)
This time I was lucky since I saw the little dot on the train map when I left the campsite.
I rushed to Hova to get a nice shot at the station, after which I moved to Mariestad to film the arrival and shunting at the lovely site there.
Unfortunately Electrolux was on summer break, so I might have to return another time and hope they still use rail freight :)
At least Metsä had some wagons so I could still capture an interesting morning of shunting in Mariestad!
One thing I did learn is that it is hard to anticipate on the movements of the train when you are not standing on the site. So that I might have to work on.

If watching this kind of low-speed freight train video, I remember my childhood memories. It reminds me of me when I was a kid looking at the train in front of a safety fence across the railroa.At that time, the engineer who made the train move was my childhood hero. It's a great video.

Very true. I love the old ones better. BUT. Still my favorite engine because of all the good memories I have with it :)
