Green Courtyard House in the Heart of Rosario | Hidden House

This house in Rosario is designed to utilize the central city space, avoiding the need to move to the outskirts while ensuring privacy and adapting to the characteristics of urban land. The house has a narrow front of 3.40 meters that widens towards the center of the block, where a mechanic workshop once operated. The goal is to create a refuge within the densely populated urban environment dominated by high-rise buildings. From the street, an opaque gate gives the illusion of a non-residential space, but this perception changes upon entering the vegetated courtyard that doubles as a garage. The design includes three floors with a central core connecting them, optimizing space and natural light. The ground floor features a kitchen as the central hub, bedrooms on the first floor, and a versatile top floor with terraces that open to the street, maintaining a connection with the surroundings.
