@K Skeldon Tip, the way I get rhythm really well is I listen to the song a bunch and I play along so try that, hope it helps

I know this is a bit late, but try your tuning, in this video hes in standard but green day usually tune down a little bit on all 6 strings, hope that helps if I'm not too late
