This bootleg has grown on me after listening a couple of times. What I especially like about is how it has completely transformed the original (to me) slightly boring/plain sounding song to a version with a deep emotional relaxed atmosphere in a typical Omyqron fashion. The vocals doesn't seem to bother me at all here either, it just fits the track so nicely. :)

I like the original more, but this song is really good. It actually has a strange quality where if you put it on loop and sort of listen to it in the background, it will sound fluid and you won't notice the start and end. Very good for repeat listening.

Shut your mouth Zantet. Green day is extremely talented! You don't have to like them, but they've been going strong for around 25 years now. Not a lot of bands can do that. Them and the Foo Fighters are really the only stand out rock acts of our decade. They're keeping rock alive! By the way they might be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame next year ;) So.. I honestly think you're pulling this theory out of thin air. Green Day has metal influences, but that's pretty much it. Nothing else in all of Green Day's 25 year career has had anything to do with the genre metal. American Idiot was labeled as alternative. Which had already been the most popular genre of rock since Nirvana first went big back in 1991. So if you really want to blame someone for "mainstreaming metal" is what I think you're trying to say, then blame Nirvana I guess.
