First time I played this it was the hardest song I knew, now I’m moving onto stuff like megadeth and Metallica, but this is where my love for guitar all started. It’s been almost 2 years since then. Thank you

A lot of the great Metallica songs are even easier than Green Day notes wise. It’s the picking that really gets me. Idk how James Hetfield can pick like that for 2-3 hour live shows especially at his current age

im a complete beginner so sorry for the question but how do I get my guitar to sound the way yours does mine is in tune (standard and I'm strumming the correct chords the first two so far) has it got to do with your amp settings? I have a Blackstar ID: Core V3 and my guitar is a Ibanez GIO however I'm not sure how to tell its specific model within the GIO range, thanks for any help
@LiquicityFPS2 жыл бұрын
I am in the same boat, Noah. If you have a small amp like mine (Epiphone Electar 10W), then it would be a bit of a struggle to get the settings just right. If you do that, you'll solve the amp part of the problem. For me, it was impossible and frustrating cuz the amp was not that great. Songs like these also have extra stuff such as reverb, delay etc. for which you'd need extra equipment. If you are looking for the perfect tone, I recommend going the same route as the guy in the video. He is using an audio interface hooked to a computer. From there, you can get pretty much any tone you want from an amp simulation software such as Guitar Rig which he has used.
