Sandman is not truly a villain, Electro is just so self absorbed with his powers which makes him feel like a god, Connors is under control but nearly not as evil, Octavius was controlled by the tentacles, but Gobbie… he’s just evil.

I think the only thing No Way Home lacked was more motiefs and themes on their own perspective characters. When Electro attacked first time in the woods we only got a 2 second bit of his theme from TASM2, I would’ve rather heard his original theme throughout that sequence. Nostalgia sells!!!

The Goblin can be even more menacing if he knows who Spider-Man is behind the mask, kinda like how William Defoe's version knew that Tobey's Peter was the face behind the mask and did meet him before through Harry or how Dane's version of the Goblin knew Andrew's Peter and quickly pieced together that Peter and Spider-Man are the same individual when he saw Gwen with Spider-Man after beating Electro as Dane's version of Harry aka the Goblin has met Gwen before and was best friends with Andrew's version of Peter. Like I said it helps if you know your enemy on a personal level as you know pretty much everything about them and know just the right places to attack them, or as Defoe's goblin put it in the 2002 movie ''the cunning warrior attacks neither body nor mind'' ''first we attack his heart''

I have to be honest, Green Goblin should’ve been far more powerful than this. He’s in the MCU with Iron Man armor and arc reactor tech, nano tech, Chitauri tech, etc and to a diabolical genius like him that’s like a kid in a candy store that he could’ve utilized to his full advantage to galvanize himself to a huge threat level that eclipses even all the other villains with him and could’ve been bigger boss battle for all three universe Spider Men. I mean I thought that was implied with Doc’s tentacle arms getting enhanced by MCU Spidey’s nano tech earlier. Heck Green Goblin could’ve a more comic accurate look if the nano tech formed an animated Goblin mask and his stocking cap.
