I love nearly everything I see in this. I love at least the concept of the level design in that it's a hybrid free run/adventure type with LOTS of room to run. The level itself was well executed too. I love the mechanics of movement. No loss of momentum like it Sonic 06 and the animations are very nice too. Love love love the fact that Super and Hyper Sonic are showcased here. Been far too long without Hyper. Since the Doomsday level in Sonic 3 I've been convinced that Sonic gains flight at Super level, but after seeing this and considering the fact that the only flight I've seen Super Sonic do was in space, I don't think that's the case. However, it was a nice addition to give it to Hyper Sonic. I have to say though that I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw what appeared to be a relatively low cap on his flight speed. I understand he needs to be controllable, but I think a player would have enough sense to voluntarily slow down to do that.

I believe the story was that Tails was supposed to be the protector of the master emerald, which could be seen in the hidden palace. So they scrapped that so that knuckles could take that role in 3 and knuckles! Search it up though, it’s a strange and haunting song!
