Somebody else might have already done it, but that does not mean nobody else is allowed to do it. I don't consider it "stealing an idea". "Stealing" would imply that it was taken and didn't belong to them. But I don't think you can claim the idea of recreating a song from memory as your own idea that nobody else is allowed to do after you've done it.
