I feel like Knight of the Reliquary is pretty sick in this deck. Omnath, lotus cobra, cradle, 2 surveil lands, deathrite, and fills your gy for Uro. If this deck doesn't want Knight it should probably be cut from the cube lol. Means it's only really getting played with stripmine and stripmine recursion.

Bro that's unironically all of us. This and bosh'n'roll are my go to. Neither of them ever randomly screech and they read out most of their plays so you can visualize it as you drift. LegenVD is another great one to doze off to. Good luck my brother in Christ may you sleep well.

Exactly the same. I always wake up when this comes out (around 4am here) and it really helps fall back asleep. Had insomnia for years before I discovered these. Somehow LSV has a soothing voice and vintage magic makes me feel comfortable

I honestly would rather have HB every time. I was so excited since I feel we went so many drafts with him passing hullbreacher and then losing or getting very tough games against it. So glad to see it on our side this time!

Yeah, Hullbreacher is a card I’ll put in my deck even without combos. Almost every deck you face is going to have some kind of card draw, and even stopping one draw with it is really good. Then sometimes you just randomly smash an opponent’s Brainstorm or Jace or Timetwister. Also strong against Monarch.

It's always felt weird to me how LSV seems to downrate cards in giant increments. As in, what was previously seen as one of the top 40 cards (e.g. Fractured Identity, Mind Twist, Treachery) is suddenly described as if it's not even in the top 200 cards anymore. I definitely agree that these cards are slowly falling down in comparative power. But LSV's acting like they're straight up dead to him during the draft portion, despite the fact that they always make the cut while deckbuilding and perform well above replacement level in actual play.

All of those are solid cards, but they're not what I want in my early picks. I'm pretty sure treachery wouldn't have made this deck for example, and I've seen all those cards sit on the sidelines plenty. I would possibly pivot harder to play Fractured if I got it in pack 2, but the others aren't strong enough to build around unless they already fit well or I have a mana vault or something to fuel them. They just take more work to make work. Love them but they aren't auto includes.

A deck that wants the leftover creature is a better grazer deck. Grazer on 1 doesn't trigger landfall. And after that you're not that likely to have extra lands. A deck that plays a lot of extra lands is also better. Probably should indeed be cut from the cube.

Looks like Green Sun's and Prismatic Ending were sorted off to the right past the 5 drops, so we couldn't see them. The rest of the deck adds up to 38 cards.

@@calypso4213 yes but by taking it there is basically shoe horning it into a deck that can’t really use it well. Bolt always does well in decks like this, especially since he didn’t have a lot of removal at the time

@@stevenashley27 Reanimate is a generically good card even if you're not specifically a Reanimator deck (as the matches demonstrated). Also, taking Bolt over Reanimate hands the better card to the opposing team.
