For any one who sees this storing your greens depends a ton on where you store them in the fridge and how cold your fridge is also. That took quite a few trial and errors :)

I'm am a big visual person so this was super helpful with fast and most efficient ways to chop up everything. I feed my igs fruit such as mangos or papaya that on site say are a staple but how often if at all do you feed your igs fruits of any kind and are there any that you do regularly? And I definitely need to invest in a bigger sharper blade after watching this :) looks like it makes it a ton easier for sure. Thanks for sharing! -MysteryMachineIgs

Wow that's amazing. I just got 1 baby blue igaunia. An 1 baby green. I love this video. I feed the pellets to but I was told to wet them. I'm not sure if they like that to much but can I ask do you or are you suppose to wet the pellets before you. Feed it to them ??

Hello. Great video I just got my baby 64 days ago he is a green iguana. What would be the best thing for me to feed the baby. Do I mix up all his greens an give him a virarity ?? He don't eat much of the collard greens. Or mustard greens so far he loves the. Roman an watermelon on top sliced very tiny. ?? Do u have anything as iam new to iguanas. So. I am reading an watching a lot of videos. Thank you for a great video

If you just got the ig, its common for them to not eat for about a week when they come to a new home. Sorry I didn't reply earlier I was on vacation

Hi, I hope you're having a good day. I love your videos, because they are very informative, and I really enjoy seeing your multiple iguanas and their enclosures. (Of course, I've been a subscriber for a while lol.) I plan to some day own an iguana, maybe soon. I've done tons of research, and this wouldn't be my first reptile, nor my first pet lizard. (I've also done some work/have experience with aggressive animals. Although, I'm hoping to have as few aggression issues with my someday iguana, as possible.) However, a simple question, which I don't really know the answer to, . . . . is how much (in American $) does it cost per week (and essentially per month) to feed a typical adult iguana? (And, does that price differ between males and females; do males eat more than females?)

same here i find i lose greens due to my ig not eating much salad and that he likes his pellets better. Also i use the repcal juvenile iguana pellets and the dye makes his poop leave blue stains you think this is safe?

roughly how much do you spend a week to feed your iguanas? I know it varies but on average do you think? I plan on getting an axanthic pretty soon but I want to make sure I can provide for it once it's full grown

For all six its about 7$ a day. So just over a dollar a day for each iguana I guess. Then in breeding season they don't eat much. But before breeding season they eat more

Once its cleaned and chopped up it doesn't go bad in my fridge for the full week, I find at around 9 days is when it starts to go bad for me :)

I feed them a bog salad once in the morning that's it. And since I make salads for a week I never have any left over. But you can wash them and put them in a Ziploc bag with all the air pushed out and keep them in your fridge, just don't freeze them.

i have problems with greens too just try not to buy more than your gonna use within a weeks time so you don't loose greens

depends on its size, a baby should be fed enough that at the end of the day there is always food left, that means he/she ate as much as they wanted and were full
