Had the honour to talk to HM The Queen Mother when she replanted the Remembrance Trees..And was there this year 9th July for the Reunion was a fantastic day....S&B.....

Very sad. So sorry to hear that. It was sad for me too: I was with my parents when I filmed this and both have subsequently died.

Jeez my old sarnt major would have had a fit at such sloppy drill, i served in the 80's saying that the royal green jackets live forever in my heart, love to you all my band of brothers (and) sisters

My son Mark Bates served in Northern Ireland, he wanted the army a his young life, the Royal Green Jackets was his life,still today he talks and lives the his time with the Regiment, the best Regiment in the world in .y oppinion3

Bloody heck the hairs went up on the back of my neck tears in my eyes I was at the depot in 72 to start my training what tough but fantastic times cpl Duncan was my corporal chippy carpenter was another name hey guys cet et audaux forever
