Green Laning - Grenadier's In Wales

Join us for a green lane trip to Wales with 2 Ineos Grenadiers, a Defender 110, a Land Rover Discovery 2, and our own Td5 Defender 90. Pretty easy, but very scenic lanes, a great day out and great to see the Grenadier out on the lanes. This was my 1st look at the Grenadier in the metal, I like it a lot. Personal choice I know but I much prefer this to the new Defender, which left me rather cold and uninterested when I had a good look around one.

Thanks for the video, caught my interest as I have a Grenadier, nice to see them out in the environment they were meant for. The mention of Oswestry also piqued my interest, spent a couple of years in Park Hall Camp way way back in my youth. Lovely area.

I'm surprised why it doesn't come with a front camera and AC outlet at least for the cargo area. it is very useful to have a front camera out of experience you don't need to get out of the car to check the track, specially if it is raining or your know that there is wild animals in that area.

@@LanesTracksTrails I don't think that was the idea. This is an off-roader you need these things and I'm paying that much to get this vehicle.

It's not that long ago no off road vehicles had cameras. Grenadier is sold as a no frills, rugged off roader. Personal choice I suppose but I'd sooner have a vehicle with less gizmo's like cameras and more mechanical things like lockers. Thanks for the comment.

Great video. Did you have a preference for the Petrol or Diesel in the Grenadier and if so, why?

Thank you. I was driving the grey Defender so don't really have an informed opinion on which was best, petrol or diesel. Sorry.

Corwen Car wash and few lanes around the Lower Ceiriog Valley, all easy to find on OS map and local council maps if not a GLASS member otherwise all on TW2

Well… Great car, no doubt… But… Way to expensive for normal people to get one. Unfortunately… The success of the Landy in the past was based on the fact that the car was … SIMPLE ROBUST and CHEAP IF YOU WANTED you could upgrade the vehicle yourself… Nice video by the way… Greetings from Germany everybody 👋 Landy owner 110 HT 👍

@erhardt1477 Thank you for the comment. I agree with what you say. The Grenadier is an expensive vehicle, but it appears very well made and robust and (I think) worth the money. Do I own one? No, to get enough money together to buy one would mean selling the 90 in the video and as much as I like the Grenadier, thats not going to happen. If I was in the market for a new vehicle though, it would be a strong contender.

nothings cheap anymore , new Defender can easily top £100k , even a basic family car is £30k !! and can`t do basic anymore due to all the legislation !!
