Great guide. Few things: Off of a traited lanterns might and dash you can also crossup with a well timed standing F3 instead of the NJ3. If you're going for optimal damage, use 123 instead of 223 to start combo after traited LM, it just requires a slight walk forward to connect.

ever play War Gods? what a weird game in Midway history. So much of my fighting game history was embroiled in the early arcade games, particularly SF2, MK1 and 2, KI1 and a little bit of 2. At some point I stopped and fighting games evolved to a place that felt waaaaay beyond me, but in the past couple of months when i decided to buy IJ2 to dip back into it, i've been watching a lot of tutorials and strategy guides that's sparked new enthusiasm and vigor. It's super fun to learn, hopefully i can evolve past the "how the fuck do i react to something at a frame data level" stage into "ooooh i finally successfully blocked that annoying overhead/low mixup thing from Darkseid". Thanks for your contribution to my eventual competency. :D

Very helpful. GL was my main in inj1 and in Inj2 as well. They took away all of his good tools though in Inj2, so I'm grinding for his legendary gear.

I cannot do the b1 to f3 initiate trait to start that combo. I can't get it to cancel the trait and start the combo

i've *just* started to do this (and i'm a fighting n00b) and what's worked for me is entering trait and db1 as a single string with no gap, so i treat the whole sequence as a single combo string: b1,3,4,db1 all in a row. Then if you don't meter burn and still want to combo, slight pause before 223.

sl1cksteve you may be inputting it a little late or early. Sometimes that happens when the input isnt times at the specific spot. I would try delaying or doing it sooner and see which works best

Sorry just as a question. How does the trait into lift work in a combo with d13? do you press them instantly together? I always activate the trait but never get the lift

KageMan do you mean b13? if so right before the 3 lands hit trait then hit db1 when the trait begins to activate

Thank you for the Tutorial! I'v been playing Harley Quinn, and I'm decent with her; But, I had my but beat with GL a few times and it made me want to give him a try. Is there a way to tell if Green Lantern is in the Top 10 characters?

LGS no problem. To say someone is top 10 is kinda subjective depending on the person using the character. In the right hands I would say he is definitely viable. Has a lot of great tools

maybe the timing is off? Try putting in the special a bit later. I find I sometimes put ti in too early.

I usually suck ass at dighting games but i play injustice at my buddies and ive been using green lantern like a fuckin pimp. Hes so easy to play and fun to use. Its great too because hes my fav dc hero. Easy to remember inputs and his combos arw cake. Cant wait to get injustice for myself and go online. I went online at my buddies and did pretty well foe myself. Hell, there was a green lanterb mirror match i was in and i beat the guy 10+ timea b4 he went to next opponent haha.

If only green lantern did more dmg... His mix up is strong but some times I wish he would do more dmg. Gotta do tons of combo just to kill enemy .... But I also play black Adam ... And I gotta say it's true ... If he catches you twice ... You're pretty much fucked...
