Sets the table and got things going then you go from Kyle getting Parallax'd, to Cyborg Superman joining up, to Anti-Monitor, to Superboy Prime, and then just when things couldn't seem to get even more buckwild, the Guardians enable lethal force for GL rings. This is the story that James Gunn needs to take to the big screen

probably the BIGEST thing I love about the Sinestro Corp war is that now green lanterns can kill when provoked, personally it always bugged me that they couldn’t. And even to today they can still kill which to me makes the lanterns better.

aside from superman and batman, Gl is my next favorite dc superheroe, mainly due to the huge mythos established by johns and sciver, its amazing , if hollywood mess the next Gl movie again, they have no one to blame but themselves, the source material is solid. out of the three, Gl rebirth feels like fellowhip of the ring, sinestro corp war is like The two towers, and Blackest night like the return of the king, at least for me.
