Green light for the new KTEL central station in Eleonas

The premises of the new KTEL station that will be created in the area of Eleonas will resemble the facilities of a small airport. They are going to replace the ancient subordinates of Kifissos and Liosia. The plan is for the two current Intercity Bus Stations to merge into one large and ultra-modern one, which will meet the needs and demands of the passenger public. It is a project with a total budget of more than 100 million euros and it is estimated that it will be ready for use within 2025. It will not be just a KTEL station where people will board and disembark the buses that cover routes in almost all prefectures of the mainland of the country, but it will also have state-of-the-art infrastructure such as a hotel, exhibition and event spaces, multi-purpose buildings, while it is expected to be a transit hub as it will be next to the Eleonas metro and a number of city bus stops so that it can be easily moved to and from the capital anyone who uses the KTEL. The new KTEL station is estimated to serve approximately 35,000 passengers on a daily basis. It has been designed in such a way as to be a transit hub, as it will be supported by the metro (via the neighboring station "Elaionas" of Line 3), by the station of urban bus lines of OASA (start/end) and by the departure of buses lines of KTEL West Attica. There will also be a car parking space. cars and two-wheelers (park & ride), a transfer area from/to taxis, but also a parking area for two-wheelers and cars for transfer (kiss & ride). With the completion of the new Central Intercity Bus Station, multiple benefits are expected, among which will be the improvement of passenger movements by intercity buses, the creation of new jobs and the upgrading of the road network around the station.

@@TasosFotakis Φίλε σε όποιο μέρος του κόσμου και να πας υπάρχουν νόμοι και ποινικές ρήτρες. Στην Ελλάδα ο καθένας μπορεί να κάνει ένσταση, όποτε του κατέβει χωρίς να πληρώσει όταν χάσει την ένσταση. Εδώ την παραμονή που είναι να μπουν οι μπουλντόζες θα βγει ο χ σύλλογος και θα κάνει ένσταση γιατί κινδυνεύουν οι καρέτα-καρέτα του Κηφισού και θα τις σταματήσει.
