a Walk at the Green Market Square in t5he city center of Cape Town. The market of more that 300 years old is now hosting more African type arts and crafts.

Very sad to see how this once iconic market, of then local Cape Town traders who sold their handmade goods...has changed. It is now just flooded with trinkets and foreigners selling their wares from other parts of Africa 😰🙃 Truly sad since locals have been pushed out of this space and denied trading space to accommodate so called "local African goods" it's bizarre. I know coz I was a permanent trader on greenmarket square back in mid / late 80's and early 90's The government lies about helping locals South African traders while they permit foreigners to trade in our spaces 😤

@@sarracg1211 Kirstenbosch craft market ... held last Sunday of every month. Also try "Under the trees market" opposite Constantia shopping center ...happens every Sunday. Look forward to seeing you there 🙏🏾🎶🙏🏾♥️
