Green Mountain is a Great new 4x Map - FS22

At last a 4X map that doesn’t look like a 4X Map. I am really impressed with this map. Would make a great logging map, if only I were into logging. I love the feel of distance, which really adds to the immersion effect. Very well done Mr. FSG. I am sold. Cannot wait to give this map a go.

Hey FSG Long time no see I am still in the loop its been a busy life for sure. We had family member pass away she was only 53 Passed away in her sleep peacefully. Its just been a sad week. It is a really beautiful good looking map, but that is where I think it ends for me. No doubt it's a great map for multi player. But I need more life/activity in it. People, bakery, traffic and city. Yeah I'm more of a city person. But with a lot of mods if it is possible to use on the map, at least you can create a lot of stuff and buildings. So ideas might come. Thanks for the map tour

Since this is a huge logging map, is it manly and most logging contracts or is it a lot of regular farming contracts as well? I quit using the platinum map since it was mainly only logging contracts there

since i been paying thi map. i really enjoy the different areas in the map. i would like to ask tht u extend your map and correct the depth of the lakes. this map could be so great to allow ships and bots in it as well. right now there is 1 lake that is shllow enough to use boat. the 4x well it should be bigger.

Great vid, Thank you, wish this map was already downloadable. currantly playing on no mans land but its a bit to small for me. also played on red river manitoba but that one is to big. so hard to find a map i like cuzz there so many maps out there. and im new to this game. could you recomand me a mid/large sized map with nice large fields. a map where i can breed diary cows and have big plots to make cow feed/ Thanks and keep them nice vids commin! 🙏 ps. im on PC

It’s because it’s a 4x map so the textures have been scaled up, a game issue rather than the map

The way consoles process instructions and data isn't able to handle the sheer volume of code these maps require. It's amazing to my way of thinking, that they are always touted as being as good as PCs, but just cannot handle the work.

Because Giants thought it was a good idee to release their game on 10 year old machines sadly. I guess the current gen consoles are able to use 4x maps.

Yes David they have tested 4x maps on the new gen consoles, Support for PS4 and Xbox1 is being dropped for the next game, so hopefully more opportunities for console players.

Yes I talk about it in the video, consoles just don’t have the prerequisites to run a big map with any level of performance, Giants have tested it. It may change in the next game when they drop support for PS4 and Xbox 1

I've been looking lately anyway since my Windows 98 finally crapped out. Probably after the new year, I'll have a new one built. There's no reason for the new gen consoles to not have access to 4x. But since they are being held back to the old gen standards, no 4x for new gen
