I'm in N. Florida. 3+ yrs I noticed bed bugs .My husband 78 yrs old Vet and retired 30 yrs blue collar he has serious heart issues and diabetic . He flat lined at home 6 times in the last 3 yrs. Though the grace of God I revived him , we have spent many stents in the hospital . He had to have part of his foot amputated followed by daily trips to hospital for 6 months of hyperbaric chambers that saved further amputation. I say this to say " daily " home health care , wound care nurces were in and out of our home is where I believe the beg bugs came from. This is our 1st bb rodeo in our home of 40 yrs. I have an heavy wooden 70's water bed frame with drawers underneath we put a mattress in. I threw the mattress pillows, bedding away and replaced with a new water bed mattress. I have identified and see bed bugs. I'm waiting on cross fire . I just want to treat correctly. We are both in poor physical health. My questions are do bed bug like the heated water bed mattress ? Do they invade clean clothes in my closet, drawers, linen closets etc? Thank God but for some reason we haven't noticed any bites on ourselves. Is that possible or normal. Or are we just very blessed. 🙏☝️ I HAVE MOST DEFINITELY SEEN THEM IN PAPER TOWELS, TORLET PAPER FROM STORES !! I HOPE YOU SEE THIS . THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO !!

Heres not just a bed bug story but also a situation i am currently navigating. A few weeks ago i purchased an RV from someone who needed it gone as he was only using it to house him and his family while he was in the process of building their current home, once that home was finished the RV was sitting in a spot that it needed to move from according ro the city, i took the RV off his hands, and when driving it off, not even 5 minutes down the street at nighttime i happen to turn on the light above the drivers seat to look for the windshield wiper button and to my suprise there was bedbugs, everywhere, hundreds of them, i freaked out parked the RV as i stood up not knowing what to do I saw one crawling where i was just sitting, i ran out of the RV, stripped butt naked with people driving by probably thinking im on drugs, left the vehicle parked there while i could figure out what to do. The previous owner said they dont have bed bugs or any bites, the last person to sleep in the RV was maybe at least 2 months before, his family member that came to visit. I think they all came out when they sensed a meal, i treated it with crossfire about 5 days ago, i still am finding live ones running around, they are everywhere idk what to do im ordering another crossfire bottle to treat it again, i am mixing the proportions correctly maybe i should soak all the places they might come out of and stay in the rv to lure them out? Cant find any local exterminators that will do the RV or if they do its almost $1000. I dont understand how there is so many of them, ive never had bedbugs before but work for a non profit housing program doing work on peoples homes so i have come across them fairly often, but never like what i saw in this motorhome, there was hundreds, at least, big ones, bigger ones and tiny ones, all over the ceiling, walls, floor anywhere you looked there was clusters, i hope the ones that i wqs able to draw out last night will take to the crossfire that is down

Hi Jason, How long does it take for a bed bug to die after it crosses a treated area? Just wondering if the bed bugs are going to die after they have came in my bed and bit me as long as the area has been treated. Thank you for all your help.

They are so disgusting. Yet for some they cut the solution in half for job security.

Have you ever gotten crossfire on skin without knowing it immediately? I think I got it on a finger. Broke my gloves during application but at time didn't think any got on my finger. Anyway then later on in day finger tip went numb. Now it is still tingly. They said to apply vitamin E. Just wondering if there is anything else to speed finger returning to normal? Thought about epsom salt?

Crossfire won’t effect you that way

Legit so far throwing away a bunch of junk furniture and doing a bunch of cleaning seems I don’t need crossfire

Can I vacuum a few days after a crossfire gel treatment? I'm afraid I'll undo the process until my next 2 week spot treatment.

Vacuums don’t cause issues with pesticide residue

@@GreenAkersPC Hey, if you have some items that cant be heated up like some backpacks from the thrift store. would throwing those in a freezer kill bedbugs and their eggs? if so, for how long? at 15 fahrenheit?
@GreenAkersPCАй бұрын
Using a freezer won’t work but you can treat backpacks with crossfire

@@GreenAkersPC can you tell me what time you usually do them on average so i can prepare to be there? i live in Michigan est usa time.
@GreenAkersPC23 күн бұрын
Typically between 5pm and 10pm it all depends on my work schedule and my children. I don’t stream when the kids are wild and need to sleep. I’m the bed time parent so I try to put them to bed before streaming unless they are behaving. A lot of people prefer me to get online during the day so I’ve been trying hard to make that happen. Always Thursdays but I won’t be able to stream until the 14th
