Hi I have looked everywhere to see if this device will allow me to make a reel on instagram or make a video on TikTok while connected to my DSLR? I’ve only seen that it’s good for “live” videos but haven’t seen anyone do a tutorial on how you can create a reel or tik tok? Mainly I want to be able to make a whole video while using this device instead of using my iPhone camera.

Check the fx3 settings, you might have chosen settings that result in a cropped image over HDMI out. For example high-frame rate.

There are the fps settings to choose from. In my testing the stream was not noticably "lagging".

Great video for a very intriguing product! Thanks a lot. At 13:46 I see some extra options for a 2 view, does that mean you can create a layout with 2 or even 3 angles stacked on top of each other? And is there an auto zoom/crop for 16x9 video - for example if I want to record in 16x9 in camera, but just want the Instream to crop to the centre of the frame while streaming on Instagram?

Those are additional picture in picture layouts in which you can have up to 3 sources in your scene. In the current version (1.2.0), I am not aware of any crop feature.

I was told that KZbin might be added later. However, they do not see KZbin as a vertical live video Platform. For RTMP you would have to use one of the other more rational 16:9 products from YoloLiv like this one: amzn.to/3QcGVv8

Looks great. Is there another device that is similar? So when you output to USB is it a clean output, so you can livestream that device to KZbin or twitch while live streaming to TikTok with the yololiv?

In my unit, the USB out is not yet working (support is informed) however the HDMI out is clean and I expect the same for USB out once it is working. So technically, yes it is possible. I am not aware of any other vertical streaming encoder like this one.

@@GreenBoxMedia I use the HDMI out with my vertical monitor so I can read the text, but the USB out is for streaming with other cameras to KZbin. If it doesn't work I can always just use the HDMI splitters I have.

The version i tested did not support WebM however you can use graphics/ videos with the Greenscreen chroma key feature to create animated overlays.

Great video. I just received my Instream. I have my Sony A7SIII with the 24 mm lens coming into the HDMI and I have my Rode Rodecaster board going into the Line. The issue I experienced was for some reason, there was an extremely tight crop of the video image. I went to the Instream settings and tried to figure out what was creating the crop and adjust it. Please help.

Hey Howard, I got the same issue and switching input to the HDMI II resolve it. I'm using C70 UHD 29,97, because 1080p is not working at all. My streams look awful, they are soft even on the highest bitrate. Frame pacing is off. Oh and wifi providing me a better connection than LAN which is absurd. The snapdragon in this thing is probably too slow for streaming. I'll back to my iPhone. Damn it's sound so good.

Not as of now. You can technically build one using the lower thirds. Sending a request like this to the Yololiv stream might results in them updating it later on.

Great video Subscribed I'm new to streaming and trying to get my head around my in stream I have two questions 1. Is there a way that I can practice with the unit without streaming live ? 2. I love the built in video feature It's why I brought the unit as I want to play FX videos while I perform my music live. I cannot see any video controls that would allow me to play the video at a certain point. Is this possible? there a way to swap the selected videos with different videos or am I limited to the videos that I first select before I begin my stream Thanks 😊

1. Yes simply don't press the LIVE button in the App you are wanting to go live in. 2. At the moment you got 2 video slots. Meaning you can switch over from video 1 to video 2 once that video reaches its end. Once switched to Video 2 you can load a new video to Video 1 to switch back to once video two ends. In the current version I am unaware of any video controls. Maybe reaching out the the Yololiv support with your feature request is a good idea and might end in them implementing something along that way.

Hey. I bought one and the stream looks like 💩... it's stutters, compression is so bad even in the highest bitrate. Is there any way to make it better or I just need to return the device? Oh and my camera is Canon C70.
