The Hoosier Daddy sandwich is big but not as big as the one at The Local Eatery. It looked tasty. The chicken also looked very good. The GSMNP is so beautiful and being free is even better. It's hard to believe that some people come to the area and don't go to the park. God is faithful and always provides. So cool that your family settled that area and you are there today. I am a Hoosier from birth. Pork tenderloins are a part of life huh? NOW for me.........the BEST I have ever had is when I fix them at home. I buy a whole pork loin and slice it "medium thick".......I believe there should be more meat than breading. I pound it out a bit and then dip in egg and press finely rolled cracker crumbs into the meat. Fry until golden brown in oil over medium high heat. ENJOY! I love your videos.

It’s definitely true that people should pick up after themselves and don’t leave food in the car especially if they have food in the car. When I was a young girl we were sitting in the car eating sandwiches and I had my backseat window cracked open just enough to get a finger between the crack. While we were sitting there enjoying our sandwiches a bunch of bears came up and one climbed on top of the rock guard wall (which is approximately 3 feet high) . That bear leaned over the car onto the back window while standing on the rock wall and stuck its hand into the cracked window trying to get into the car to get my sandwich! I jumped and sailed through the air at the same time, landed on top of my cousin patsy on the opposite side of the back seat! That bear stood there literally shaking the entire car back and forth constantly for several minutes! Honestly it was a miracle that the car didn’t roll over completely every time it went from one side to the other! The bears hand was stuck and the bear couldn’t let go of the car! The windows were power windows and fortunately my uncle who was in the drivers seat managed to move the window enough in one direction (I don’t know if it was up or down but it wasn’t much of a difference) and the bear was in such pain it actually pulled it’s hand out and walked away. We drove away and believe me I never ate anything with my window cracked again! We lived in the Tennessee Valley/Middle Tennessee, but we went to the mountains at least once a year throughout my youth, I would love to live in the mountains, always loved it in the mountains more than anywhere.

My husband also proposed to me 15 yrs ago on a rock in the river in the GSMNP! It is the big pull out with about 10 parking spaces just after the "loop" I think it is mile 12.44 (there are like 10 space there). The path goes down to the river.

Is the bridge where you guys got engaged easy to get to and a flat area? How and where do you get the parking permit to be able to go to the Greenbrier picnic area and Ramsey Cascades?

The bridge is easy to get to and the parking pass can be bought online and printed out. It’s chilly then but if you bring a blanket you should be good

two questions, is it chubby's that has the pork tenderloin. i have had theirs and it is great. i have had the hoosier daddy from local eatery and it was good, but not as good as chubby's. second question, where did you find the zero sugar squirt. i love squirt and can never find the low calorie or the zero sugar. we are local to sevierville.
