Okay so at around 3:50 in the video Billie Joe is shown running at the same speed as the car and since I was bored I decided to see how fast Billie Joe was going. I found out the car used in the music video was a Mercury Monterey convertible (1970) and with a quick Google search I found out that a Mercury Monterey convertible (1970) can go up to 120 mph (193 km). The fastest man in the world Usain Bolt can run up to 28 mph (45 km). So in conclusion, Billie is the fastest human being in the GDCU (Green Day Cinematic Universe) with top speeds of 120 mph. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. (I may have got some details wrong since I'm just a dumbass so let me know if I did) Edit: Edited the speeds to their correct value and specified the model. Thanks @Outlaw for letting me know.

Me and my boys were hanging out and one of them said "hey do you guys know this band? it's called green day" and we spent the whole day listening to American Idiot. It was love on the first sight. And since then we used to hang out just to play video games and listen to green day, all day. That truly was a heaven. No worries, no money, just a bunch of kids having some good time being kids.

You're on soundcloud. 4. It sucks. 5. Quit advertising your crappy music under here. 6. I'd totally support your band if you weren't doing this kind of advertising, but now I pull the fuckin' wool off my eyes and say: your music still sucks. Nothing else. Just stop.

I didn't care of Green Day when I was younger, but my dad being the coolest he is had me start listening to them after he went to the Hella Mega tour show with a friend of his. Now I'm known as a proud rock/punk fan about 4 years later, actually seing fall out boy yesterday night (3/4/2024) with my awesome dad, singing our lungs out together. And also seeing Green Day for Super Bowl in 2022.

Hear the sound of the falling rain Coming down like an Armageddon flame (hey!) A shame The ones who died without a name Hear the dogs howlin' out of key To a hymn called faith and misery (hey!) And bleed, the company lost the war today I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies This is the dawning of the rest of our lives On holiday Hear the drum pounding out of time Another protester has crossed the line (hey!) To find, the money's on the other side Can I get another Amen (Amen!) There's a flag wrapped around a score of men (hey!) A gag, A plastic bag on a monument I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies This is the dawning of the rest of our lives On holiday

Flash forward to today, having my 12 year old son telling me he likes listening to Green Day. Holiday being his current favorite. Damn... their music really does just flow really well through each generation ♥
