Hello! I bought your lectures on udemy and I'm happy about it. I have a question! On 10:47, why did you minus 24 to 24 x when 24x is subtracted by 40? Aren't you suppose to do the opposite of the operation? I hope my question makes sense. THANK YOU SO MUCH

why do you subtract bigger x first ? i thought you subtract from the smaller x first ?

I don't know what you mean by subtract the bigger x first? You move all the variable terms to one side and the numbers to the other. The larger or smaller x plays no part in any decision.

the problem at time 11:16 you subtract -24x from 56x and the previous problem you did it the other way , why is that ?

You need to move all the variable terms to one side and all the numbers to the other. I always choose the left side for the variable terms and the right side for the numbers.
