Welcome back! You are one of my favorite "youtube personalities" and even though I may have never commented I watched your vids regularly. I probably won't get to finish this video right now as I just noticed it was posted, but I can't wait to see what you still have and what you'll be replacing and what new things you'll get and how the greenhouse has held up for the last 5+ years and what practical tips you'll have for us, no pressure! LOL. I did watch the first few minutes and I'm sure you'll find some nice and interesting things in your local garden center...it can be a bit like fishing but hopefully you'll catch something!

Hi, I had more plants than I wanted to take care of. I also have been sticking to or selecting particularly resistant plants because this way I feel more free and I don't feel bad after killing one or twenty. That been said, I am really impressed by your Cattleyas: despite the neglect many look nice and even awesome! Apart from that, I wouldn't be surprised if your greenhouse looked very nice by the end of the year. This is the magic of work: you do it, and things flourish arround you. Welcome back! I'm so glad to see you back. I'm sure you'll be alright with your plants. Plants are tougher than you think. Just take your time and start slowly and do things that makes you happy. Hoyas are great plants to take care. I got lots of hoyas now too! Thanks for the update and looking forward to see more videos from you this year. Have a great weekend and happy growing.

I completely understand. I took a break from my plants for about 4 months I think. I think about 30-40 plants died. I was frustrated with rot on new growth on cattleyas. I’ve been spraying with Subdue bacteria/fungicide and finally have it under control. To motivate myself to start back, I bought some non-orchids through the mail and they made me happy.
