Build a wooden frame of any type of wood but strong.Then clad it in greenhouse thick plastic rolls . You can have auto windows and heating inside in winter. Cost 10x10 feet 210 euro doing all the work myself

You already have the frame with the green tunnel, just buy a premium cover from first tunnel for about £120 and use the old frame but don't forget to add anti heat spot tape on the frame

That is exactly what I did. I bought a sheet of super therm cover from First tunnels and covered the existing frame. Cost me about £125 and then we bought the tape for frame and clips on top of that cost. Made a new framed door and it’s great and has lasted 2 seasons with no issues. I prefer a greenhouse at home cos at the allotment a greenhouse fries everything unless you go every day open and shut and water in the summer. I can do that easily at home.

I had a greenhouse before Storm ISHY came through in early part of year, was left with a mangled twisted wreck, as storm carried a small tornado Greenhouse was twisted into a Tornado spiral shape,,so Polly tunnels for me ,vid on youtube, But worse part had just reglazed previous year £350 worth of glass gone, Frame now at scrap yard, the ""old Fella""

I think polytunnels get warmer inside , but overnight when it cools down a greenhouse holds the heat better than a polytunnel.. I have both too

GRAEME, you need to bye ...HOT SPOT TAPE,to put on your jolly pipes to keep the sun off the polly cover because the sun will heat your poles,which will burn the cover

although i have a polytunnel, graeme, i have to admit i feel a glasshouse has the most important benefit. more light..................brian
