Greenland in Summer

Greenland in Summer has beautiful yellow Buttercups blooming along rolling hills. Glaciers are melting and fishermen catch fish to dry for winter months. Museums have been established to show the history of this amazing island between two oceans the Arctic and Atlantic. It is a North American autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark. Citizens of Greenland are granted European Union citizenship. It is apart of the continent of North America but has ties with Europe, especially Denmark. It has been inhabited for 4500 years by Artic peoples who migrated from Canada. Norsemen inhabited the southern part of Greenland beginning in the 10 century. It has an influence of Norway and Norwegians too.
