Dave Douglas Quintet - Wake Up Claire

A student in my jazz history class was looking for performances in NYC next week to go to for a class listening project and found the name of this group. We viewed this movie to check them out and I give the Dave Douglas Quintet my strongest recommendation. What a smokin' group!! I wish I had heard of them before; I would have caught their gig last week in Philly. During the last week of the semester, when I profile up-and-coming jazz artists, I'm going to play this for the whole class! What great collective and individual music-making!
