I love the fact that you are honest and truthful in your review of greenlight products. Just as I though Greenlight had turned the corner with their quality control issues, you just exposed why you can’t trust large diecast vehicle producers. From what I’m thinking it’s going to take videos like yours and a pocket book protest of not buying Greenlight products until they get this quality control issue under control. I’m hoping Greenlight is watching as this may embarrass them to fix this problem once and for all.

The honest review is appreciated. Someone at the Greenlight factory seems to be asleep at the wheel. As a realistic long time collector I expect occasional errors to get thru from any diecast brand. It just goes with the territory but I have seen quite a few Greenlights with flaws and it keeps me from buying them. Hopefully you have better luck with the other Greenlights.

Bought my first one yesterday actually it was a 2019 Durango it was overall good surprisingly the tire rubber seemed like it was off a bit but nothing crazy.

Cool video. I picked up the Chevelle and the Diplomat. Had to pick up a second Diplomat as the first one had terrible quality control, the chassis was totally warped and stance was very bad. Totally agree with you about Greenlight QC, unacceptable on many of their models.

I don't understand how greenlight can produce great quality models (like the one you showed in the black bandit video a week ago) and also at the same time produce total pieces of junk!! They realy need to get this QC thing fixed ASAP! Since a couple of years when I purschase new greenlight cars I always double check the package of new release and look for errors and issues like the ones in this video. It is not uncommun for me to find a car with broken lightbar, a dis-align front bumper, a scrached paint job or plastic windshield, oil residue inside the interior, a bent or badly smashed axle and even smashed hood/ metal parts of the body....

I love Dexter! They have a new season on Showtime starting very soon or it has already started. Thanks for giving me the heads-up about the Greenlight release! I would probably keep it sealed because of the artwork on the package. Thankfully, no white wall tires to worry about...

Love the video. I just bought 4 out of the 5 in the series from Target. Unfortunately, the quality isn’t the best noticeably when you look at the whitewalls. They do lack at putting the white wall paint on correctly like you said. They do need to up their game in the quality control.

I guess T2 is everoyne's favorite Terminator movie, incuding me. Hollywood Series 32 looks like a good set (although not as strong as Hollywood 31 in my opinion). The 1979 Ford LTD Country Squire and the 1983 Ford Crown Victoria Police car are my favorites here. Yet, almost all the quality control issues with Greenlight keep re-apprearing. My biggest gripe are the dirty-oily windows, even when the model is not weathered. White wall tires not aligned properly a close second. It's all these small defects wich push people away from getting Greenlight models, especially sealed cases when it's a matter of luck if you get a proper batch or not. So, it's better pointing out the problems so Greenlight _might_ fix them in the future, although with so many multiple sets produced at the same time, i doubt they will. At least now i know why you keep buying multiples of them :) Thanks for making this video.

Man Greenlight does have a big problem when it comes to White Walls and especially doing anything with quality control I looked at some at some of my stores I would too and I've seen them whatever just messed up but I've never seen it to where it's that happened had on that one side of that Dodge Diplomat that's just this bad but I would agree we need to start a revolution

Love the diplomat, but all of the times I went to the local Walmart, the cars were always messed up in some way. Tampos, details, wheels, etc. were screwed.

I could not agree with you more regarding Greenlight quality. It is mostly terrible. The problem is they make such interesting and collectible models. I think they are meant to be enjoyed in the package. I pass on buying many GL, especially if they are sharing shelves with JL, AW, Matchbox and others. I rather spend my money on something I can enjoy rather than be disappointed with smudged paints, ill-fitted components and loose parts. 😉🤔👍

LOL, the way his taste in cars align with my own, 4-door 80's sedans and wagons... I love it! My favorite car Greenlight makes is the 1980's LTD Crown Victoria, one of my personal favorite cars in full scale/IRL, but I wish they would make it in 1/43 scale.

I don't have many Greenlight in my collection. I mainly pick up Auto World, and Hot Wheels. I never knew Greenlight had such a QC problem. Hard to tell sometimes in the packaging if a model's really busted. Well except for M2, which frequently have rattling loose parts that have broken off during shipping.

Shame so many of these cars had issues. I noticed the same thing in US Walmarts, flooded with stock from this release and the quality was pretty poor. I bought a lot of the cars for demolition derby car builds and junkyard builds. I’d love to send you a junker or derby car, or both at some point. Your junkyard was a great reference when building some of my own with organization

Greenlight is super weird, they have some fantastic work but they still stuff up the basics eg, tyres/rims. Why is it so hard to get it consistently right? I despise buying Greenlight online, but don't have much choice as toys R us was the only retailer that stocked their product anywhere near me. I buy very little of their merch these days. Great upload.

Great video! 👍 We don't have Greenlight cars in here Finland and i have thought i have to order some from ebay etc... But after this video i think it's better not to 🤔... if you order from somewhere you can't pick best ones and you don't know what junk you get because so bad quality-control. Those are not collectors items anymore, i think you should have moneys back from GL... It's sad to see, because GL makes lots of nice castings that others not do, like 4-door sedans and wagons, but i think not worth to buy at this moment, maybe if quality gets better.

Despite the fact that the white wall is off…sitting on a display you’d be hard pressed to notice it. If anything, it will help make the car look like it has flat tires helping with the weathered look. The scratching windshield is annoying.

We are waiting for years now for Greenlight quality to improve, and I guess we will keep waiting. Glue leaking on windows, paint chips, scratches are so common, it is hard to find a model without flaws. And this is definitely not justified by the price, $1 Hot Wheels are far better in quality. I stopped buying new Greenlight a while ago, only mint and lose so I can check out the model before I buy. Really sad, because they jave some great castings!

Sadly that is my favorite Diplomat they’ve made so far, really embodies the 80s cars with the “bandaid” beige color but greenlight has gotten out of control. I also hate they make SO MANY remakes of the same car over and over again. STOP MAKING THE 55 BELAIR DELIVERY YOU HAVE MADE TOO MANY

There's too many scalpers in my area to find anything worth while at Walmart,and that's 3 Walmarts. There was a Greatest American Hero Dodge at a hobby store but it was suffering from many issues, so I left it where I found it.

Same. I picked up my Diplomat at the local Walmart because it was literally the last item in the entire peg-space. Went to another Walmart and the last two were also Diplomats except they were missing large chunks of paint and were generally terrible. What is going on with Greenlight

For myself I bought the Dodge diplomat casting. I do know the show but really do not care for it. It is fun but nothing special. On the other hand I like cars from this era too. The colour is classic 1980 era and the overall casting is ok. The wheels are the big weak spot. But at least it goes with plymouth fury police cruiser from greenlight. Quality control is on area they have to work on. The wagon looks great but seeing I have other versions of it so I passed on this new one..

Fawking Greenlight 😂 I learned my lesson a while on GLs. I once got a black hellcat charger so messed up I made it my mission to force them to ship me a new one with no defects. They did ended up sending me one but never again will I have to do that. Your commentary was hilarious on that tan police car though 😆

@@wtffor this morning I was scrolling Facebook and someone posted a police vehicle, I think it was a Ford Explorer of some sorts with a messed up rim. Same EXACT thing…it was on the card side of the vehicle so that you could not see the damage until you opened the package and removed the car. I told that person “I’ve been seeing videos on KZbin where this has happened” so this is seemingly widespread. What a shame because they have some nice designs. But I think I’m going to avoid these guys from now on. Their stuff appears to be poorly made junk. I’ll stick to auto world and Johnny lightning from now on.
