I just got my Bigfoot in the mail. Was ordered for me as a gift. I have to say I was beyond impressed. This truck not only looks amazing but it rolls like a dream. My first thought was a downhill race. But last time I did that with a high end Greenlight, the bumper snapped. If I do end up with all of them, I'm not sure if I could stop myself..lol. Imagine seeing 4 of these barrelling down a track. Even 1 on 1. Anyway I was waiting for you to get these. I had a feeling you'd like em. We thanks again. Great video.

I like these, I particularly remember seeing Bigfoot in USA TV programs that reached our country while growing up as a kid in the 70s / 80s. I never knew about that style of braking system used on monster trucks (we don't get much exposure to them here in NZ). I had just assumed they used 4 wheel disk brakes, but learnt from you today that they have front and rear disk brakes mounted on the ends of the diffs (driveshafts) to reduce interference of brake lines around the wheels, etc. Cool, appreciate the info =)

For some reason here in the U. K we don't get Greenlight,M2, Auto WORLD etc, and we only get the basic Hot wheels, I have searched toy stores and hobby stores which are few and far between where I am and looking online can be very frustrating especially on ebay where people are asking ridiculous amounts and postage on top, but persevering I managed to pick up some greenlight Bigfoot Monster trucks and some Datsun 510 bre models for a good price including postage.

I don't know the details of the size but Bigfoot 1 sometimes wears slightly smaller tires. I don't know for sure but my guess is that it is representative of what the truck looked like when Bob Chandler was just using it to promote his four wheel drive shop and using it as his personal rig. The 66 inch agricultural spreader tires came later but those of you as old as I am also remember Bob found the 10 foot tundra tires in Alaska I believe and he ran them on a later truck. There is a great Bigfoot history video that used to be on VHS called Bigfoot the living legend and I know it is here on KZbin. Anyway the models look amazing I got the Bigfoot 1 and USA-1 because that was the main competition for Bigfoot before anybody had ever heard of Grave Digger. These vehicles are my my childhood heroes Bigfoot USA-1 General Lee and Bandit's 77 Trans Am Trigger. I was never an action figure kid no sir all my childhood heroes had wheels and these models provide great nostalgia got mine displayed with all my other 80s TV and movie cars. The Krimson Krusher is coming coming out in release two and it was a unique truck in that it ran 8 skinny tractor tires as a double dually I will be getting that one too. Thank you you're collection is awe inspiring.

These look awesome, although they are slightly inaccurate. The front ends on all of the ford trucks are 1978-79 front ends but they are labeled as 1974-75 models.
@craiglawrence4255 жыл бұрын
I think the original Bigfoot was a 74 but Bob Chandler later put a 79 front end on it.

Yep- they definitely look like they roll smoother than Hotwheels. Will we see a little downhill racing?
@wtffor6 жыл бұрын
Great suggestions, I'll see what I can put together for a race.... only thing I would be worried about is these trucks do have fragile details and I don't want to risk breaking anything if it becomes a concern...

wtffor Totally get that - maybe a nice, gentle downhill surrounded by pillows.

The Bigfoot you have with the small tires were 48 inch. that was before Bigfoot went to a 66 inch. becoming the industry standard.
