The MSG-90 can get even better with the .308-win conversion as it basically has no downsides. It gets a 2x head multi with no damage changes causing a 1 tap to the head up to 110 studs, velocity goes to 3000 and the only real downside is it’s halfed magazine. I personally prefer that over the base gun.

I ran this conversion for my first 1800 kills, but recently i discovered that in some ways the AP ammo is better. It has way better pen, recoil, and ammo. While it may not do nearly as well close range, it has a 2 tap torso all ranges. Also, Hollow point has the same hits to kill as .308, but with more ammo and less pen/mv, and i believe less recoil. Honestly the 308 conversion is very good, until you unlock AP or Hollow.

Somesteven, try MG42 with hollow point and light bolt. It can 3 shot kill up to 84 studs (all limbs) and 3 shot kill up to 54 studs (all torso), this a direct upgrade to the MG42 in term of damage range, making it very good at CQC combat

"based off stock performance alone" I was hoping he'd at least talk about conversions, the .500 Phantom on the Mk11 is just funny, 1 shot headshots and 1 shot torso on a 275 rpm dmr is great. (would easily bump it up to #1 for me just due to how much fun I have with it)

One thing I'm happy about for dmr is that the svu is back to its right category; the dmr Catagory. Because they did put it on the sniper rifle category, but I'm glad they put the svu back just like the good old days of Phantom Foces.

on that note, ta33 acog is an AWESOME scope for dmrs, it's like a better malcolm and ta44 in one package, very slim scope ring, good midrange zoom, and even if you want to go in full tunnel scope, the bigger fov compared to malcolm really helps.

the sks with full stonk and 366 slugs is literally an m1 garand - wooden, no pistol grip, 10 round stripper clip, semi auto thingy. also has alright damage

Set up I've been watching the channel for a while you NEED to try out the Beowulf TCR with... Binary trigger 5.56x45MM use your own sight and grip Its really good if you can get the trigger timing right

The MK11 and VSS have been my go to guns when nothing else is felling right that day, however the TCR is good with the .458 SOCOM (11.63×40mmRB). The HK-417 and Scar-H are also good guns for simi-auto LRC with AP and a VCOG 6 or 8X, not only that but they feel better suited in Marksman roles over Automatic Rifleman roles. if you want to make it interesting. use the M16A4 in Simi-auto with AP and a VCOG.

Honestly, I do think that the Beowulf TCR could be better. I’d like to see a .300 BLK conversion for it. I generally use the .458 SOCOM conversion because of lower recoil, and higher mag. The only thing it loses is a bit of damage, but it’s basically I laser pointer with the right attachments. I also hope to see an 8.6 BLK DMR soon. That would be awesome.

I honestly agree with your ranking of vss since it's damage isn't that great at range. I would honestly rank it higher since its fire rate and multipliers (without 7.62 conversion) allows trigger fingers to easily take down enemies at somewhat long ranges. Especially with my main setup: malcolm 3x scope(or acog for lower visual recoil), default barrel, folding grip, and yellow laser, recoil is significantly lower than it's stock version and allows you to farm headshots if you know how to compensate drop due to low velocity. It's currently my favorite DMR since it's high fire rate with great multipliers and immense skill practice allows great substitution for a fast-firing sniper.

Steven, I can agree with the reasons you gave as to why the SA58 SPR is the worst DMR, but I personally love it and I think its one of the most satisfying guns I've used in Phantom Forces. Love the vid as always

In my opinion, the TCR is the GOAT with the conversions. 5.56 plus binary and a macro is literally a better M16. Personally I think DMR's are underused because the majority of players just don't care anymore. This being the same reason I think snipers are underused and why I believe the 50 cals should be removed: the people who don't want to aim just use the BFG, Hecate, NTW, or M107 instead of server hopping unlike how the game used to be.

i know there is a very small chance that you will use this Stoner 96 comp aimpoint (any really but i like that one) pbs-1 suppressor vertical grip any laser or ballistics tracker if you want and tracerless ammo it is not no recoil but it is very minimal recoil

Hey something regarding the sks: pso 1 has 8x zoom, and still has no scope sway, AND still has the lower zoom alt option. I run that, muzzle brake/t brake, skeleton grip, and full stock for an all range laser. Obligatory no recoil setup laser

(major yap session *non angry*) I always thought the sks was easily the worst out of all the DMRs. I tend to treat it more like a harder hitting semi auto battle rifle than an effectice long range weapon. The SCAR SSR always felt more satisfying to use compared to the SVU. Idk why but that gun is just cursed when i use it and I cannot do with it 😂. I also wouldn't personally rank weapons super heavily on their iron sights because in reality a very small percentage of players use DMRs with ironsights for an extended period of time. But hey, it's a Steven list, so iron sights are gonna matter more I suppose. MK11 🔛🔝 tho

If we were talking about attachments and conversions, 100% the list would be completely different, the only reason I'm including iron sights and suck is because of rating based on stock performance, so I agree that including attachments and stuff would def move things around- however everyone has a different setup, everyone uses different conversions, so it just makes it easier to make a tier list and make the fewest people mad based on something everyone has used- base the base weapon

So umm I found an actual minigun that isn't unusable. MG3KWS/MG42 (MG42 will have worse recoil obviously) Chainsaw Grip Yellow Laser Muzzle Booster You can use Tracerless or some ammo conversion if you want. MGV-176 Chainsaw Grip Yellow Laser Muzzle Booster Any ammo type you want. This one is a worse damage but better recoil version of the MG3/42 Lol if u use this I will be so happy. 3rd try of getting in video.

Ok ik this might not be for everyone but you should try the beowulf tcr with 5.56 it 4 shots all ranges with 30 rounds and even though its semi its insanely acurate with 2.7k muzzle velocity with the heavy barrel and has decent rpm
