I see a lot of you are *passionate* about the scar hamr, and good for you, I just don't personally like it over others, as I said though, it's not bad, just not my first choice. Opinions people, opinions 🤌 (also don't forget I was judging based on stock performance, obviously attachments will change things around but to avoid people screaming I used the "wrong attachments", stock attachments were better

Scar hamr is overrated almost every lmg is basically better than it the only good thing about it is that it basically has lower recoil(with attachments) than average but still slightly higher recoil than Aug hbar for no apparent upgrade other than mag capacity.

With the stock Scar HAMR in reference, your points are well and truly valid. May I suggest a setup for it that may be more enjoyable for you; Sight of preference (I use Anti and have proof if you want it) Squad barrel (or x-ring for "true" no recoil) Hera CQR/use Stubby if you want to hipfire better Tri=Laser because the more the better Stock ammo/AP (depends on the Map adn Lobby) Whether you use this setup is up to you, but I hope you use it to see the true potential of the Scar HAMR. also 9mm increases firerate btw.

Actually, the SCAR HAMR does have a torso multiplier that allows it to 3 shot up close to the torso, but that's gone in the HAMR IAR in the test place

RPK-12 Used to be my favorite since it has a really fast reload speed of 2.4 Seconds and a pretty good penetration power.

I ran it with a chainsaw grip, the terminator laser, a muzzle booster, and armor piercing rounds for maximum shenanigans. Any type of laser will do for me for the other category of the attachments.

Longest range kill I've gotten in Phantom Forces was 700 Stud Headshot on Dunes with an M60 with an ACOG. If you tap the M60, it has no recoil at all, and ACOG isn't considered a sniping scope so you don't suffer with the breathing mechanic. And before any of you ask, I use alt aim for close quarters

M60 with double triple laser/ double yellow lasers/ anti aircraft irons with a muzzle booster or ARS suppressor is so much fun! Even when you are rank 133 on console lol. But what’s even better? The H&K21E with Angled grip, yellow laser, muzzle booster/ARS suppressor, and any optic of your choice will let you lay down suppressive fire for years! These two guns besides the Colt MARS, are my favorite guns!

The Hamr (Scar IAR) got nerfed to the ground, the Mg36 sucked from the beginning, the HK is just annoying, the L86 is one of my favorites, the M60 is another favorite simply because it's almost as annoying as the HK, both base (12 and 74) RPK's are garbage, the standard RPK isn't bad but has it's quirks, both the AUG and the Colt LMG are pretty damn self explanatory, but the MG3......... is the most annoying gun I've ever seen (yes, I think it's worse than the HK)

the reason the HK 21 has such high recoil is due to it being a roller-delayed blowback gun (the G3) thats been made to be belt fed

The first LMG I used was the M60 because when I played, it was the first machine gun. I mostly use it for the AA sights, which are my favorite, and I just like how it feels. It was my first experience with Phantom Forces, and I was like 7 when I used it. Still fun, just not much good against other guns.

the l86 used to be goated Three thinks made it so: Ridiculously high velocity created sniper rifle like levels of suppression that made it terrifying to get shot at by and produce a shit tonne of suppression minimum 25 damage making it a 4 shot kill at all ranges AP ammo having no significant damage reduction to the point it would chew walls like nothing combined with the old two shot kill hollowpoint RPK, these were the best guns in the game

MG36 is amazing if you use a No recoil sniper, suppressor/armor piercing type of build. Put on a 3x sniper scope or something and then its up to you for the barrel, understock etc I run Malcolm 3x scope, T brake, stubby grip, yellow laser and armor piercing

@@SomeSteven Yeah I see your train of thought and if you continue this series of ranking the guns of every category, it would be smart to keep using the guns stock except for maybe guns with iron sights you hate and then just use a normal optic like a reflex or delta. I wouldn't use kousaku and definitely not the dcl because as you said about people giving you their "optimal" setup they will spend 20 minutes in the comment section talking about how the kousaku does reduce visible recoil because of the low zoom. Anyways, hope you continue this series, its nice to see your opinion and not ranking everything because of their stats.

somesteven, why don´t you just try it out with the chainsaw grip, the m60 has a strong recoil I know but if you actully ´´use´´ the weapon more than an hour then you understand how to use it and you can just add an silencer if the sound design dosn´t really fit with you, but I like the loudener more on it

Try the HK21E with mars sight, compensator, stubby grip, any laser, and armor piercing rounds PS make sure to press t so you are in the second sight mode.
