We've become so reliant on our words - we've allowed language to get in the way - we've forgotten that there are so many ways to communicate.
Animals, especially horses, understand our intentions and are able to communicate with us without needing to use words.
After a series of strokes, Gary was left unable to speak. But this didn't stop him from communicating. Through his relationship with his horses, we learn that we are more than just our words!

You don't remember the moment that moved you, but the feeling of it somehow changed your perspective. Gary, that absolute happiness in his face as Horse gave him weightlessness, i smiled too. They came to his house in the South African province of KwaZulu Natal. They stood around his house & kept vigil for two days. Thanks for the question Marla. We do spend a lot of time doing our research (online/magazines etc), and then we just make it our mission to meet as many people as we can. We talk to strangers. We get suggestions from friends. We knock of doors of interesting looking homes. We strike up a conversation with the people next to us at restaurant tables. I cannot thank you enough for this. I too lost my precious, beautiful husband, just this past April. It’s so painful. I’m trying to focus on all that he taught and gave to me. It’s so hard. I am watching Green Renaissance constantly as it’s the only thing that soothes me… that and memories.
