I began listening to shep in the 60s. Came on around 10pm on wor in nyc and went until about midnight. He was brilliant and hysterical. The mivie christmas story is based on one of his books. He became so familiar like a friend with his radio show.

First time listening to him besides the narration of the movie. Mike Rowe has a guest on that was knew him by reaching out to teach him about story telling and I decided to check him out. I could listen to him all day.
