Sir I had tried this method 2-3 years back. But whenever power went and came back and that time there is no hotspot, camera date and time gets reset to 1970. This was causing recording problems. Only after giving hotspot it gets date and time updated and we can find recordings. Now you said at the end of the video that it was recording continously even after power went and came. So is this problem resolved in latest models?
