Beautiful trees. Your father’s ‘complete book of bonsai’ was given to me by my wife a few years ago. It’s amazing to see some of those trees here. I hope one day my own son continues caring for my trees.

This was just an exposition. They are on their way back outside for the rest of the year. No doubt they will be protected through the year. Most bonsai gardeners have their own preferred ways for caring for their cold hardy tree's through the winter. In general they need to be protected from dessicating winds, protected from rodents, watered, ect. Hope that helps.
