Thank you buddy you were a great help! I used a screwdriver with a long neck to get the tough to reach screw. I also used a drill to widen the hole

I have the exact same issue. Once you open up the back cover, what did you do to fix the chute?

There's one bolt that holds that assembly together. Unscrew that bolt and realign the gears and you're done.
