The blue bird at 6:35 is a Steller's jay. It's related to other corvids like the blue jay, crow, raven and magpie. The one in my yard mimics the call of a red-tailed hawk to scare the smaller birds away from the feeders so he can dine at a leisurely pace with his mate

This video had me good crying, because memories. It was clear you had a local guide when you were in Multnomah Village (my awesome hipster architect cousins live there in a renovated train conductors cottage). They took you to XLB and LoveJoy bakery, some of my old haunts. I lived at Cyan/PDX next to Pettygrove park downtown. I met my now husband online when I first moved there. Two years of exploring the city together during his visits. This video gave me all the good vibes of my time living there. Mahalo 🤙

It's so nice to see your old friends once again. I love Oregon, but haven't actually made it to Portland yet. So glad you had such a fun, giggly trip 🙂

Discovered your channel when you visited the Philippines! Keep the content coming. I live in the Philippines now but Portland is one of my favorite places to spend time when I lived in the US. 💯👏🏾
