I've never heard anyone say Ahleen", but rather "Ahlan". Where does the difference in pronunciation come from? Does it differ between different regions of the country?

Thank you for the great question. "ahlan" is more commonly associated with Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha) and is widely understood, while "ahleen" is a variation found in some dialects. "ahleen" carries the same meaning as "ahlan," but it's like saying "ahlan" twice (X2).
