Everybody's Golf and Hot Shots is actually the same game. The series used to be called Hot Shots in North America and Everybody's golf in other parts of the world. They eventually just dropped the two different names and went with calling it Everybody's Golf in all territories

The movement of the dots on the lines is the intensity. The faster they more, the more intense the slope. The color is just whether it's uphill (blue) or downhill (red) from where your ball is currently placed.

I think this is gonna be one I skipp simply because it's not 4 player split screen. Ik regular golf is local 4 player since there's no need for split but the fact I can't play speed golf with 3 other people with one switch and one game is a huge deal breaker for me. I still play Mario Tennis regularly with my entire family from my 7 year old cousin to my grandma who's age she wouldn't want me to disclose. That game is criminally underrated when it comes to local multiplayer fun

I get that the game seems bare bones, but they announced before the game was released that Nitendo is gonna release new courses, modes, and characters for the next year or two.
