In a world of shock jocks and loudmouths, Greg Cosell brings savviness, sanity and expertise with film breakdown that is unmatched. Always a pleasure and educational listening to him.

Definitely one of the better NFL analysts the game has ever seen. And we get the blessing of having him not only like our team (thanks Josh! 😉), but also being generous enough to offer interviews sometimes multiple times in the same week. Pretty awesome to have one of the best analysts take the time to watch game tape on both teams, before coming onto your team's show, and then talking tactics and strategy, every week...Absolutely love it!

I love these episodes with Cosell, takes the emotional "insights" out of the show and keeps it X's and O's.

The answer to Tasker's question about why the Bills have the 20th ranked rushing attack is because our defense kept giving our offense short fields in the Miami game. We didn't rack up rushing yards because we didn't need that many yards to score. Good defense helps the offense. True complimentary football.

They have a half they didn't even play. After the Tua concussion you could see everyone was just trying to end the game.

These weird games with the Jags go back to 96. Maybe when Kelly went out on the cart and never played again is the bad Mojo with the Jags.

Last year‘s London game was not an accurate measure of the Bills versus Jags. Bills played on a short week and traveling to London is no picnic. Jags played there the week prior. The field was terrible and resulted in numerous injuries on the Bill side.

Agreed, but I still believe ( and I was there ), the Bills were totally overconfident, got too far behind, and just couldn't do it in time

I wish they would’ve asked some hard questions such as, why go for it on fourth down early in the game when they could easily kick a field goal. Yes it was highly successful but I still question the decision. And more importantly, why is no one talking about Tyler Bass? He’s a subpar kicker. KC’s kicker nailed a 56 yard FG to win their season opener! This will come back to haunt us I’m afraid. He’s a noticeable deficiency on our team.

If the Bills come out throwing and attacking they can go back to the run later. If they come out trying to run and going 3 and out a few times it will have that weird Jacksonville game feel again.

@@SeanL-jw9rr Getting Kincaid the ball is a tone setter that allows the man-beaters to work. NFL teams are smart enough not to leave him one-on-one so the other guys need to make them pay.
@SeanL-jw9rr
@SeanL-jw9rr Ай бұрын
@@tjsumigray22 True, ...out of all the guys Josh could force feed, only really Knox and Kincaid are gonna automatically demand extra attention, due to their sheer size and speed. You get Kincaid (or Knox) going early, and the rest of the offense gets a bit easier everywhere else. I'm sure the coaches already understand this principle, though. Hopefully we actually use it though, and frequently, ...as I kind of assume that this was what the plan was all along in drafting Kincaid: Making this a more run-friendly, and physical yet flexible offense, designed to maximize Josh's potential.

Bills also have a chip on their shoulder after losing to the Jags in their last two meetings. Also former Bills players on the Jags is meaningless since this Bills team has too many new faces and coaches it doesn’t matter. Bills win 38 to 20 and they will do it equal effort in run and passing. Allen must have quick releases to avoid top rush defense.

Greg’s comment on cover two defense are completely wrong. Cover three is played 33.5% of the time. Cover two and cover four are a combined 25.7% of the time. 10 years ago cover three was even lower at 21% at the peak of the legion of boom era. Source Brett kollman

Is Greg trying to convince us the viewers or himself that he watches to tape? The more I watch cover 1 film room the more I notice Greg might watch the tape but he barely knows what he is seeing.

Remember everyone comes away from tape with different opinions, and with cover 1 they don’t know how a play is actually called or designed to do so they have their opinion on it. I like cover 1 but got to remember it’s all opinion based.
