Shakur is not a KO artist but he has the skills to beat almost anyone . He’s comfortable with winning and that’s fine. The problem is he talks like he’s a KO artist and takes criticism HORRIBLY. Going back and forth with people on twitter, saying “f*** the fans”, even arguing ignoring the corner advice of his grandfather/trainer this last fight. I 100% believe Shakur could’ve stopped Artem if he tried but he was comfortable with a decision victory. After his last fight against Edwin, he NEEDED a spectacular performance to redeem himself in the eyes of the public. He has all the skills in the world but is too cocky to even try to understand the business of boxing. The casual fan does not care about “the sweet science”. Even if you can’t knock your opponent out, fans would rather see you try to beat them up like Keyshawn just did to Madueno.
